ABOUT AUSTRALIAN TEXAS LONGHORN ALLIANCE

In 2016, a group of long-time Australian Texas Longhorn breeders formed the Australian Texas Longhorn Alliance. Some of the founding members have been breeding Texas Longhorns since 1996 and have registered their cattle with all the main breed registries in the USA and Australia. Due to the sheer size of Australia, it can be difficult for Texas Longhorn enthusiasts and breeders to gather regularly as a group. The Alliance was formed to bring these likeminded people together on a platform that provides a network to encourage people to get involved with this wonderful and historic breed of cattle and to assist in the promotion of Texas Longhorns. The ATLA has no intention of competing with existing breed organisations or registries and welcomes input from any Texas Longhorn enthusiast or breeder.
